The breed is not suited to extreme cold, but can still be kept in colder regions if they wear extra clothing on cold days. Like fun and games? It also makes these dogs! The breed may well stay in the apartment in the city.

Silky terrier appearance: A silky terrier is a small dog breed, longhaired, with an average body type, standing ears, comparatively short muzzle, and general good looks.

Health: The health for silky terriers varies and depends on more than the race itself. Health problems may be hypothyroidism, ordinary diseases and other dog ailments and illnesses.

Worth knowing about silky terrier: The silky terrier originates from Australia. Expected age will vary, but anything from 12 to 15 years is what you would expect. The breed dog is a comparatively very popular and there is still someone who advertises puppies for sale. Silky Terriers were initially bred for companionship.

Approved kennel clubs: American Kennel Club places the breed dog in the group «toy dogs». United Kennel Club files the breed dog in the category «terrier». Also recognized by the Canadian Kennel as «toy dogs».
